Attention LCPAA Students and Families!
On Saturday December 1st from 8:00am-12:00pm, your assistance is requested to help with setup for the 2018 Holiday Concert.

Lawrence Central Performing Arts Presents:
The 2018 Holiday Concert, “A Country Bear, City Bear Holiday”
You may have heard the story Country Mouse and City Mouse, but the Performing Arts students are ready to tell the tale of Country Bear and City Bear.
The Lawrence Central Performing Arts Department presents an extraordinary program including Band, Choir, Dance, Orchestra, and Theatre Ensembles. Holiday traditions meet with outstanding musical performances for an unforgettable evening of entertainment.
We offer two opportunities to the see the show. Purchase tickets in advance online or in the Performing Arts office for the best seating options and price. Tickets are $8 each until Thursday, December 6th at 4pm. After that, ticket prices increase to $10 each. This is a reserved seating event.

Once you've purchased a ticket, if you need to make any changes, including a refund, you must contact the Lawrence Central box office at 317-964-7450. Total Gate Solutions/TickeTracker support does not handle any changes after the ticket is purchased.
Important Season Pass /Complimentary Ticket Holders Information
*** If you have a season pass or a complimentary ticket, you must claim your tickets at the box office. Please call and leave your name, phone number, and ticket request information at 317-964-7450. We will also need the following information: Performance date and total number of tickets including the pass or passes. Let us know which pass you want to use and how many you have. Someone will return your call to complete your order.

Join us December 5th at 7:30pm to hear the LC Jazz Band and Belzer MS Jazz Band with our special guest APA (American Pianists Awards) Finalist Keelan Dimick. The American Pianists Awards are the world’s largest Classical and Jazz Piano competitions. Winners receive a $100,000 prize, as well as recording opportunities, and career support. Featuring LC Jazz Band and Belzer MS Jazz Band 12/5 Clinic at 7, concert at 7:30. Kenny Phelps and Nick Tucker will also join Keelan in Performance.
Keelan Dimick, 27, Miami (born April 18, 1991)
After taking first place at the Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival in 2007, fifteen-year-old Keelan Dimick committed himself to a lifelong pursuit of jazz piano. Keelan has toured across the US covering seventeen states and five countries and has shared the stage with jazz luminaries, including Kobie Watkins, David Liebman, Walter Smith III, Brian Lynch, Cyrille Aimee and multi-platinum recording artist Michael Feinstein.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Keelan started formal lessons at age thirteen and quickly began accumulating awards such as Anaheim Heritage Festival’s “Maestro Award,” Gene Harris Jazz Festival’s “Best Jazz Solo,” and Interlochen Arts Academy’s “Outstanding Musician.” After high school, Keelan re-located to New York City where he received his Bachelors of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music in 2013. In 2017, he completed his Masters of Music from Frost School of Music at the University of Miami in Florida. Keelan performs regularly and teaches privately in Miami, where he currently resides.

Keelan will be in residence at LC. Dec. 3-5, performing a series of concerts and masterclasses, as well as rehearsing with the Jazz Band.
This is just a quick notice to let everyone know that we are bumping up the order deadline for next weekend's plastic card Scrip order. With the busy holidays, we'd like to give our order an extra day to get here before the end of finals week!
Please plan to have your plastic card orders in by Sunday December 9th at 9:00 p.m. so that we can order from Scrip first thing Friday morning. As always, there is no deadline for ScripNow! products.
If you are not set up with Presto Pay and wish to write a check, please drop your check in the Performing Arts office drop box no later than the end of the day Wednesday December 5th. If we do not have a check we can't place the order.
Script is offering bonuses on plastic cards Saturday December 1st, but they will not announce which vendors are participating until that day.

Looking for a great opportunity to earn some of your student’s Performing Arts fees? You can now participate in the LCPAA Performing Arts Ad Campaign to sell ads for our LCPAA Performing Arts events program (our version of a PLAYBILL), with 30% of each of your sales directly crediting to your student’s account. As an example, if you sell a $100 business card size ad to a business owner, $30 of that sale will be credited to your student’s account. Many larger sized ads are also available for sale.
To participate, you must register by emailing Tad Williams at firstname.lastname@example.org and by picking up an Ad Campaign information packet from Mrs. Felli in the Performing Arts office. The packet provides details about getting started and includes answers to all of your questions about this opportunity. Click here to download and read the attached information to determine if you would like to participate.
The campaign also gives parents and other relatives or friends a chance to purchase a personal tribute ad for their students, which can include a photo or just a note of congratulations on the student’s performing arts successes. Personal tribute ads are half the price of business ads.
The program is a high quality, professionally printed document sold/distributed at our five most well-attended events and performances, and includes unlimited space for you to sell ad space to community businesses, your employer, and or family and friends. The Ad Campaign for the 2019 calendar year program is now underway and will last approximately 8 weeks, ending on Friday, December 14th.
Mrs. Felli has complete information packets available for sign out in the Performing Arts office, which include all instructions and order forms necessary for completing the ad sales.
