If you haven’t picked up your fundraisers, please plan to do so today – 4:30pm-6:30pm. Come to Door 16 to the Studio Theatre. Yankee Candles may not arrive in time.
Orders are still accepted ONLINE ONLY. For online shopping: visit www.yankeecandlefundraising.com, enter the group number 990102986, and click the start shopping now button. When you check out, type in your favorite performing arts student’s name so they receive credit for the sale.
Products will be shipped directly to the buyer with online shopping. Shipping and taxes may apply. All online Yankee Candle sales will be shipped directly to the purchaser.

Color Run Online Donations – Due to their proximity to Hurricane Dorian, the Get Active Fundraising headquarters has temporarily shut down, resulting in a delay of their online donation processing. We are unable to credit student accounts for online donations until processing is finalized.
Performing Arts Gala - On Saturday, September 7th, we will have our 10th annual Performing Arts Gala. All proceeds from the Gala go directly to the LCPAA scholarship fund. The fund is used to assist students and families to offset participation fees. If the you planning on attending the Gala or would like to contribute to the fund, please contact Melody Pancheri, Administrative Assistant at melodypancheri@PROTECTED.

Lawrence Central Marching Band Invitational
There will be 26 bands marching in the LC Invitational Saturday, September 14. Performances begin at 2:30pm. MPLT performs at 10:30pm. Admission -$8 adults, $5 students, $3 programs.
Call for Volunteers for the Marching Band Invitational at LC on Saturday, September 14th
Many open volunteer spots available for the Marching Band Invitational. Shifts are available throughout the day in parking, water tables, cookie baking & sales, checking hand stamps, etc. If you sign up for a shift, you can use your volunteer name tag for free admission to watch MPLT perform that later that evening. Calling all Pride Bakers - Desserts Needed for Marching Band Invitational on September 14th
Care to share your dessert specialty at the Marching Band Invitational? We are in need of 15 homemade desserts for hospitality to serve to judges and visiting directors for meals at the invitational. Whole cakes, pies, cobblers, brownies, etc. are welcome as well as mini desserts and cookies. Do not place in zip lock bags as we will do that. MIC Choral Festival
Wed. Sept 18 our LCPAA will be hosting all of the MIC schools for the MIC Choral Festival. A free concert begins at 7 PM conducted by honored guest clinician, Dr. Betsy Burleigh from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. FREE performance
Parent Volunteers Needed - We are in need of parent volunteers for hospitality to serve to visiting directors, guest conductors, and musicians for dinner at the MIC Choral Festival. LC vs. LN Football Game at Lucas Oil Stadium
MPLT will perform Friday, September 6, 2019 at the LC vs. LN football game, held at Lucas Oil Stadium. Game starts at 8:00pm. Approximate time for half-time performance is 8:55pm. Come support LC and MPLT.
Pre-sale tickets are available in the LC Athletic Office (Door 9) - $10 adults, $5 K-6th grade, or $15 at the gate.
Fall Play Auditions
Auditions for the Fall Play are Monday and Tuesday 4pm-6pm in the Studio Theatre. No preparation is necessary. Callbacks are on Wednesday with the cast announcement on Friday, September 13.
Rookie Show DVDs
Please place your order for the Rookie Show DVDs by Friday, September 13. Order forms can be picked up from Ms. Horrigan or in the Performing Arts Office. DVDs are $20. Please make checks payable to LCPAA.
Pink sheet distribution: “Parent Service Assignment Form”
During the week of August 12th, every student will receive a “Parent Service Assignment Form” that they need to bring home to their parents or guardians to sign and return. Each family will be assigned to 2 or 3 events, which can be switched to other events, as needed. These forms are due back by August 23rd. The Performing Arts Office is in need of donations to keep the office stocked for students. Many times students come in to grab an extra snack, or they need other items like bathroom supplies and tissues. For this purpose, a SignUp has been created. Please feel free to donate other items not listed on the form. Thank you for your support!

The LC and LN Performing Arts are going to Disney in March 2020. Choir students are highly encouraged to go as they will be competing and performing at the Heart of America Competition. Information can be found here. All other PA students are encouraged to attend as well. Students will attend workshops designed for their respective PA classes. Information for PA students other than choir can be found here.
Please make sure to register with Music for Travel - information is listed on the forms.
Each class is charged a participation/quota fee for charges associated with that class. This fee covers uniform or costumes, props, special music arrangements, instruments in good repair, etc. To the look at the specific fees for your student’s performing arts class, please see the attachment. Quota fees are due September 1 & February 1. Payments can be made by cash or check at the Performing Arts office located in the Hall of Fame inside Door 11. Credit card payments may be made at LCPAA.org by selecting “Make an Online Payment” and following the link. There is a service charge for paying by credit card.
Performing Arts Department Season Passes for the year are available for purchase. One FREE season pass is given to every student who has paid their total year quota before September 30. A season pass can also be purchased for $40. All Season Passes, whether purchased or received through entire Quota Payment, must be acquired by September 30.
