LCPAA Financial Assistance Scholarship

The Crown Hill Financial Assistance Scholarship provides assistance for active LC performing arts students experiencing financial hardship. UPDATE: Deadline for applications has been extended to Friday, November 22.


Holiday Craft Boutique

Please join us on Saturday, November 23 rd for our 35 th Annual LCPAA Holiday Craft Boutique. Enjoy warm cookies, a merry atmosphere, shopping with local vendors and special holiday performances from Lawrence Central ensembles. Our boutique features over 90 vendors selling locally made, handcrafted items. Check out our Lawrence Central Holiday Boutique Facebook page for featured vendor items. Boutique hours are 9a-3p. Admission is $3 at the door. Enter through Door 11.

Lawrence Central Performing Arts Presents: The 2019 Holiday Concert, There’s No Business Like Snow Business”

The Lawrence Central Performing Arts Department presents an extraordinary program including Band, Choir, Dance, Orchestra, and Theatre Ensembles. Holiday traditions meet with outstanding musical performances for an unforgettable evening of entertainment.

We offer two opportunities to see the show. Purchase tickets in advance online or in the Performing Arts office for the best seating options and price. Tickets are $8 each until Thursday, December 5th at 4pm. After that, ticket prices increase to $10 each. This is a reserved seating event.

Important Season Pass/Complimentary Ticket Holders
*** If you have a season pass or a complimentary ticket, you must claim your tickets at the box office. Please call and leave your name, phone number, and ticket request information at 317-964-7450. We will also need the following information: Performance date and total number of tickets including the pass or passes. Let us know which pass you want to use and how many you have. Someone will return your call to complete your order. Enjoy the show and thank you for supporting our students. Please know, day of performances will be best available even if you are a season pass holder.

Jazz Night in the Commons: Free Admission

LCPAA Winter Fundraiser Pickup

Please pick up your fundraising items on Monday, December 2 from 6:30pm-8:30pm or Tuesday, December 3 from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
Enter Door 16 and come to the Studio Theatre

Volunteers Needed:

  • Monday, December 2 from 4:00pm-6:30pm – unload fundraising items and bring to Studio Theatre
  • Both Parents and students may help. Students can earn service hours for helping.

Products will be shipped directly to the buyer with online shopping. Shipping and taxes may apply. All online Yankee Candle sales will be shipped directly to the purchaser.

The schedule for ordering plastic Scrip cards will be adjusted for the holidays. Instead of the regular first and third Fridays, orders for plastic cards will be placed the weekend of November 29, and on Wednesday December 11. Please have your Scrip orders placed by midnight on November 30, and by midnight on December 11. As always, ScripNow products are available for use immediately.

Scrip is simply a work that mean “substitute money” – in other words, scrip is gift cards from national and local retailers.  They’re the same gift card that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our Scrip program including The Gap, Pizza Hut, Kohl’s, Walmart, and many other businesses.

To sign up for Scrip:

  4. Fill out the registration sheet and make sure to put down your student’s name in the student name field.

**Anyone can sign up – friends, family, etc. – just make sure they put your student’s name in the student name field so that they can get the credit.

Thanksgiving Break
Reminder: Thanksgiving Break is Wednesday, November 27 to Friday, November 29. The Performing Arts office will be closed.


Season Passes
Season Passes have been mailed out. If you would like to purchase a season pass, they are $40. Please contact Melody Pancheri for more information at melodypancheri@PROTECTED or 317-964-7450.


Quota Fees
Each class is charged a participation/quota fee for charges associated with that class.  This fee covers uniform or costumes, props, special music arrangements, instruments in good repair, etc. To the look at the specific fees for your student’s performing arts class, please see the attachment.  Quota fees are due September 1 & February 1.  Payments can be made by cash or check at the Performing Arts office located in the Hall of Fame inside Door 11. Credit card payments may be made at by selecting “Make an Online Payment” and following the link.  There is a service charge for paying by credit card.

Disney 2020

The LC and LN Performing Arts are going to Disney in March 2020. Choir students are highly encouraged to go as they will be competing and performing at the Heart of America Competition. All other PA students are encouraged to attend as well. Students will attend workshops designed for their respective PA classes. Please make sure that you register with Music Travel.


Payments to Disney

Payments to Disney from student accounts will be made in December, February, and March. Students who would like to make a payment from their accounts must 1) have their quotas paid in full and 2) email Mrs. Pancheri at melodypancheri@PROTECTED who the payment is for and how much should be applied to their Music Travel account.
