Auditions for Mary Poppins will be held Monday, Feb. 3 and Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 4 PM to 6 PM. Dress to impress. Bring sheet music and be prepared to sing 16 bars from a Broadway or Disney musical.

LCPAA Board Meeting
The next LCPAA Board Meeting is Monday, February 3 at 6:45 PM in the Choir Room.
Gala Committee Meeting
If you are on the Gala Committee or would like to be on the Gala Committee, please plan to go to the next meeting on Monday, February 3 after the LCPAA Board Meeting. We will meet in the Performing Arts Department Conference Room.
Variety Pops Auditions
Variety Pops auditions will take place on Wednesday, February 12 at 4 PM. There will be a sign-up sheet by the Choir Room next week. Your name must be on this list to audition. For questions, please speak to Mr. Ellis.
The LC and LN Performing Arts are going to Disney in March 2020. Choir students are highly encouraged to go as they will be competing and performing at the Heart of America Competition. All other PA students are encouraged to attend as well. Students will attend workshops designed for their respective PA classes. Please make sure that you register with Music Travel.
Show Choir – Monday, March 9 6:30 PM in the Senior Cafe
Performing Arts (not Show Choir) – Thursday, March 12 7 PM in the Senior Cafe
Payments to Disney from student accounts will be made in February. Students who would like to make a payment from their accounts must 1) have their quotas paid in full and 2) email Mrs. Pancheri at melodypancheri@PROTECTED who the payment is for and how much should be applied to their Music Travel account.
The schedule for ordering plastic Scrip cards will be adjusted for the holidays. Instead of the regular first and third Fridays, orders for plastic cards will be placed the weekend of November 29, and on Wednesday December 11. Please have your Scrip orders placed by midnight on November 30, and by midnight on December 11. As always, ScripNow products are available for use immediately.
Scrip is simply a work that mean “substitute money” – in other words, scrip is gift cards from national and local retailers. They’re the same gift card that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our Scrip program including The Gap, Pizza Hut, Kohl’s, Walmart, and many other businesses.
To sign up for Scrip:
**Anyone can sign up – friends, family, etc. – just make sure they put your student’s name in the student name field so that they can get the credit.

Performing Arts Class Yard Signs
The Lawrence Central Performing Arts class yard signs are finally available! Order yours today here.
Season Passes have been mailed out. If you would like to purchase a season pass, they are $40. Please contact Melody Pancheri for more information at melodypancheri@PROTECTED or 317-964-7450.
Each class is charged a participation/quota fee for charges associated with that class. This fee covers uniform or costumes, props, special music arrangements, instruments in good repair, etc. To the look at the specific fees for your student’s performing arts class, please see the attachment.
Quota fees are due February 1. Payments can be made by cash or check at the Performing Arts office located in the Hall of Fame inside Door 11. Credit card payments may be made at LCPAA.org by selecting “Make an Online Payment” and following the link. There is a service charge for paying by credit card.
All LCPAA parents, guardians & students should to sign up for Remind 101 to receive important updates and messages, especially about fundraising. It is highly recommended that parents also sign up; this is the quickest way to receive timely updates!
